A growing body of research shows that caregivers of people living with dementia face increased risks to their own physical, cognitive, and emotional health. Read more about the research that highlights why programs supporting caregiver exercise and well-being are essential—not only to improve quality of life, but also to help reduce long-term dementia risk among caregivers themselves.

CareFit is a multi-component program being co-designed with care partners, community organizations, and fitness experts. The program will combine education, wellness strategies, physical activity, and social engagement to promote brain health for care partners.
